In this post, I rate Ben & Jerry’s dairy-free Americone Dream for social and environmental impact. It turns out that there are now vegan versions of most Ben & Jerry’s ice creams, all with recently improved recipes. Compared to the dairy-based products, the vegan ice creams are comparable in terms of taste, a little better nutritionally, and hugely better in terms of impact.
